Planning the 2011 End to End cycle

Team2011. Left to right: Tyler, Dan, Gordon, Tom and Luke.

I had so much fun doing the End to End cycle in August 2009. I have started to planning to do the cycle again, this time for 2011. Yes I know that 2011 is a good while away, but it will give me lots of time to save up money again for it. Also this time, going to get a big group of us going it.

So far at least 4 other people have said they are up for doing it :). They are people that I work with at the Peterborough Greyhound Stadium. How they will be with so many of us wanting to take the time off, all at once I have no idea.

Now I really can’t wait for the summer of 2011. Just hope I have better weather this time!

More news on Team2011 soon…

Well done to the six celebrities that cycled the length of Britain. So far they have raised £1,006,509 (correct at 04/03/2010 @ 8:11pm GMT).

They nailed it! In 82 hours, seven celebrities cycled the length of the UK, day and night, scaling 1,000ft peaks, battling icy blizzards and lows of -15C.

Listening to them on the Scott Mills show on BBC Radio 1, was great. I was so happy for them, it made me remember when I did it last year.

You can still sponsor the team by going to http://www.sportrelief.com/whats-on/challenges/cycleteam/donate.

You can watch their entire journey on Thursday 18th March on BBC One at 9pm. Don’t miss it!
