Well OK, I filmed this window from my car. But I am sure many of you, will cover the same route while doing the End to End cycle. I did this section myself while doing the cycle back in August 2009.

So here is a high speed video of the route between Glencoe and Tyndrum.

Scotland’s cycling routes to get £6m revamp

Scotland’s cycle path network is to get a £6m revamp, which will include improvements to the Land’s End to John O’Groats route.

The famous route will be upgraded from Barnton Junction to the Forth Road Bridge.

The money will also be used to create more cycle paths in Glasgow ahead of the Commonwealth Games in 2014.

New way of displaying data from the cycle

Just playing around with a new way of displaying data from the End2End cycle that I did in August 2009. This data is made using a WordPress plugin called Gpx2Graphics. I really like it so far, since you can also view the route with google street view.

The YHA Chester has now closed. So when planning your End to End cycle please bear this in mind. It’s very sad news, I really enjoyed my stay there, last year while doing the End2End cycle.
