New way of displaying data from the cycle

Just playing around with a new way of displaying data from the End2End cycle that I did in August 2009. This data is made using a WordPress plugin called Gpx2Graphics. I really like it so far, since you can also view the route with google street view.

Please can you let me know what you think by posting comments below.

YHA Chester has now closed

The YHA Chester has now closed. So when planning your End to End cycle please bear this in mind. It’s very sad news, I really enjoyed my stay there, last year while doing the End2End cycle.

Now with more useful information

Since given this website a new look last weekend. I have been working on adding lots of new contains to the website.

So far I have added the following:-

  • Accommodation – The accommodation that I stayed in while doing the cycle.
  • Contact me – This page really speaks for it’s self.
  • Checklist – List of the stuff I took while doing the End to End cycle.
  • Weather – Links to useful weather websites.

I have updated the JOGLE route pages, so each day now contains the current weather for that section of the cycle.

Coming soon GPS route data, so you can download my JOGLE End to End cycle route to your own GPS.

Not long now…

We’re in Killearn now, which is about half way to the starting point in John O’Groats.  We will be leaving Killearn at around 11am, to do the rest of the long drive to John O’Groats. Then hope that we both great a good sleep ready for the first day of cycling on the Sunday.

That’s the whole route sorted

That’s the whole of the route now been sorted for the End to End cycle from John O’Groats to Lands End (JOGLE).  I would like to say a very, very big thank-you to Ashley, who give up most of his Sunday to help me get it all done in time.
